Owned and manufactured in the U.S.A, Gatorz have been providing eyewear to the military and law enforcement community since 1996.

    THE FRAME

At the heart of every pair of Gatorz is T6 7075 Aluminium frame, a strong, fatigue resisting material developed back in 1936 by Sumitomo Metal (now Mitsubishi).

The unique properties of 7075 allow Gatorz to stamp their frames from a single sheet of material in a process they developed, perfected and later patented. From here they can bevel out material to hold the pressure mounted lens and then attached the arms.

Although super lightweight and strong, Gatorz frames are pliable, meaning you can adjust them to get the perfect fit and they won't break. In fact they can take a lot of abuse and keep on rolling.

I wear these for everything from work to skydiving, shooting pretty much never go anywhere without my gatorz and you can actually bend and shape them to fit perfectly

7075 has proved itself as a very reliable and strong material since it's inception, so you can be rest assured that your Gatorz will serve you well.

    THE LENSES

Gatorz lenses are manufactured from high quality low distortion 2mm polycarbonate which will block harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays and provide a high level of impact resistance.

In addition to their popular polarized lens Gatorz also offer a number of unique lens colors and coatings such as chrome which is a semi mirror finish.

The lenses themselves are pressure mounted into the frame which makes them extremely stable and not prone to popping out. If you manage to damage your lens you can have the lenses replaced or upgraded.

    DURABILITY

Gatorz 7075 frame ensure they will last for many years but obviously there are other parts to consider. Its common place to find owners who have had theirs 10+ years!

Each frame features a dual sided 5 barrel hinge mounted via a classic 4 rivet assembly. Its an extremely robust hinge and will take many years of abuse.

Nosepads are made from non fading silicone and provide plenty of grip.

All Gatorz sunglasses are covered by a 2 Year Warranty program and a comprehensive repair service is also available which ensures you'll get  the maximum bang for you buck!
