The Wraptor, the original and still one of Gatorz most popular frames is built from a strong, fatigue resisting material developed back in 1936 by Sumitomo Metal (now Mitsubishi) known as 7075 aluminum.
Its popularity is probably down to the simple fact that the frames dimensions have an uncanny ability to suit nearly anyone. Its just a great wrap style that provides just the right amount of lens coverage. My own pair are about 7 years old and sport many scratches and battle wounds! I've worn them all over the country whilst mountain biking and they've never let me down.
So what's the difference between the Wraptor and Radiator? The Wraptor frame is slightly wider than the Radiator and is also a little longer in length. As for the lenses, they are aren't quite as narrow as the Radiators. For specifics, checkout our Gatorz frame guide.
